“For many years I was used to our in-ear- monitoring system but I always felt like I was driving in a car with one window open. Now, I thought that what he had is as good as it gets, until I heard myMix”. (Brian Vaughan, pastor for worship and music, Grace Church, Eden Prairie, MN)
" I have found mymix extremely versatile in both our youth and main worship services. The number of people on our team using in-ear monitors has grown and Mymix allows everyone on the team to create the mix they need. Because of this, we no longer need to staff a volunteer at the monitor engineer position. " (Troy Hallstrom, technical director, Grace Church, Eden Prairie, MN)
"First off, I want to thank you for all of the help you were to me setting up our MyMix system. Rarely is there a company that will take their customer support to the levels that you did, which made it a joy to work with you. As for the MyMix system, what can I say? It’s amazing! It’s awesome! We literally spent 10-15 minutes each service getting our old HearBack system reconfigured before each service. The scene recalls on MyMix has changed all of that. Now when a musician steps up to the mic stand, they recall their setting and they’re off and performing, with little or no adjustments. This system is super easy to learn and use; our worship team loves it.
One of the features that is really useful from a sound engineer’s perspective is being able to listen to the musicians mix. Now when (which is seldom) I hear “I can’t hear myself, or my guitar, or his guitar or whatever,” I don’t have to run up on stage with my headphones to plug in and figure it out. I can just select the player’s mix on my own unit in the sound booth and can hear exactly what they hear and usually figure out what’s wrong. Also a nice feature is when we have a performer come to our church and they don’t want to mess with “their mix” I have the ability to set up a single channel on MyMix and send an aux mix to the unit. Now all they have to do is say, “I need more XYZ.” And that works using a wireless monitor system or a stage wedge! Amazing! Thanks!"

“I have just used the MyMix system on an extensive tour of China as main band monitoring system. With very limited time for setup in the different venues, the intuitive handling of the system allowed for no monitoring issues. The fact that the different musicians controlled the channel inputs themselves, meant that we only had to rely on the FOH staff to send us vocal and FX feeds which were triggered from their position. The Mute/ Solo/ Global Volume interface makes for incredibly speedy live mix switches. Having worked with most monitoring systems, I would highly recommend this to other musicians and will personally insist on this system henceforth.“ Charl-Johan Lingenfelder, Musical Supervisor, High School Musical Live On Stage (Hong Kong- China- Taiwan) |
“On previous productions of this show I have specified various band monitoring systems all with varying degrees of success. Just prior to this tour I had the MyMix system demonstrated to me, impressed with what I saw and heard and took the decision to include this as the specified system on the tour rider. At the initial show in Hong Kong the system was setup on the bandstand and a brief operational demonstration given to the 12 piece band, after very brief sound check during which the various mixes were sent to the system, we went into an intensive show rehearsal period. It was only a few days later after the opening night that I realised that band monitors had simply not been an issue. The MyMix had been so intuitive and so reliable that if there had been any issues, the band had simply dealt with them themselves. MyMix is definitely my band monitoring system of choice." "...Bottom line, I think MyMix is the cat's meow. One of our non-techie worship singers was using it within a couple minutes, and was doing complicated things like renaming inputs in less than 5 minutes with very little instruction. We're buying 8 MyMix units this week for our worship band and singers." - Chris Fuchser Read the entire post HERE |

"First I want to thank you for driving up from Nurnberg to Cologne to give us a demo on the myMix system. We were already excited and when our lead singer and guitarist was able to find the reverb send on her own and stated proudly: “I found the reverb, sounds awesome!” I knew that the system is made for musicians. It was very nice to offer us trying myMix on our first “Wohnzimmerkonzert” (Concert from the living room). On Dec 2nd 2010 it was about time. We used four myMix : -1 in-ear for drums (thank god… did save us a lot of noise) -1 in-ear for the bass player -1 for the wedges vocalists/woodwinds -1 wedge keyboards. From the input expander we got: -1 submix drums -1 submix keyboards -1 submix vocals -1 submix woodwinds - Bass from console aux - guitars from console aux - Hammond from console aux fed into the system, so everybody could create their own mix.
Every musician immediately understood the system and started using it for granted. There were only happy faces and not a single issue! I think, that given the fact that this is a whole new approach, which was absolutely new to all involved, that’s big kudos to intuitive user interface and functionality of MyMix. And as we needed all of a sudden a soundtrack from an iPhone to be shared, I simply plugged a mini jack to jack cable into the myMix of the musician who was standing with his iPhone in front of a microphone, and 1 minute later everybody had it in his monitors, exactly as they wanted it. Great!" - Martin Ernst, Producer, RTL-Allstars

"We've found the mymix system to work extremely well for us in the church context. For starters, it enables the musicians to be able to control 16 inputs. This alone is a wonderful feature, considering we came from a system with only 7 input controls. But our musicians have also really enjoyed the other features of each individual mixer: personal EQ, onboard effects, pan, etc. During the first rehearsal with the new system, our electric guitar player and drummer were already trying to convince the rest of the band to try new effects they had discovered. Very intuitive interface...our band was able to use the system immediately with very little direct instruction. Further, the mixers accept an sd card, which can record every individual track for later remixing or personal rehearsal. This feature is simply amazing. But perhaps most impressive is the quality of the sound. The mymix delivers superb quality audio, enabling our musicians to play to their fullest potential. We've been extremely pleased with the overall system thus far. It has been our best tech investment for quite some time." - Jason Wilson, Worship Pastor, the Journey at First Baptist, Orange City, Florida

My name is Michael Holland and I’ve been a professional musician for 20 years. I’m the bass player for the band The Clou Experience from Düsseldorf, Germany and also work as sound designer for radio productions in my own studio in Wachtendonk. Since several months we’ve used eight myMix units with The Clou Experience on a POE switch. We have about 100 gigs per year throughout Europe, this year we even made it to Beijing. The entire band uses in-ear monitoring. In the past that meant hours of sound checking to get each and every instrument and voice in every musicians personal mix. Because many events have a very tight time schedule that check did not happen appropriately and we had to live the whole evening with a mediocre and sometimes even bad sound result.
Since we started using myMix that has changed completely! The system is easy and fast to set up on stage. After a quick gain adjustment on the inputs the band is ready to roll, and in a sound quality that I never had on an in-ear system before. Every musician can at any time during the evening adjust all parameters of the mix, so in addition to EQ, balance, solo and mute even adding reverb or delay per channel. At any time one has a stage sound that equals a CD production in quality. Simply great! In addition to that, our sound tech is now also much more relaxed, because he can concentrate fully on the main mix, without getting disturbed by (loud) monitors. The band can rock’n roll and relax even at dinner music level. And cutting all the individual tracks to an SD card is simply a genius feature. The audio files can easily be imported to any DAW for further use…super slick. If I could make a wish: I would like to be able to select the tracks that get recorded, to save some space on the card. We also benefit from myMix in our rehearsal room. Great sound, no schlepping of heavy equipment, a digital multi-track recording of every session, what else could one wish to have? We use myMix even in hotel rooms: plug in some instruments and here we go. A fast double checking of some songs in the keyboardist’s room is not a problem. Even for studio work, myMix is a great tool to create the headphone mix, because everybody can adjust himself, saving precious studio time. I’m a big fan of this genius system and can only recommend to all musicians to check it out, afterwards you wouldn’t want anything else.
